Kids’ Boo-Works Bash!

Come in costume if you dare! Just in time for fall decorating, kids will paint their own pumpkins. A number of BW artists will jump start the creative process by painting each pumpkin’s eyes with a range of expressions, happy, scared, creepy, funny and more. Kid’s can choose a pumpkin and complete the decorating by adding their own nose, mouth, hair, and accessories. There will also be games, prizes and treats.

Music, food, drinks, games and fun! Come in costume if you dare!
Extreme Pumpkin Carving Demonstration by Artist Michael Allison. You won’t believe your eyes as you watch an ordinary pumpkin become a twisted work of art. The artfully carved pumpkin will be raffled off at the end of the evening.
Adult Trick or Treat for beverages and snacks around the Bottle Works’ studios.
 
Johnstown Battle of the Bar!
 
Bartenders to be announced.
 
On October 17, at The Oh, So Artsy Halloween Party​, they will battle till the end in a bar-tending brawl to benefit the Bottle Works Arts on Third Avenue. Each will be collecting tips to win the coveted BW Bar Battle Trophy and bragging rights! Help them make their fundraising goal of $2000 in “tips” as they go head-to-head, pour-for-pour.
 
Who will be the leader of this fierce competition?? Come prepared to have fun and support The Bottle Works. Costumes optional, but encouraged! If you can’t make the event, donate online or send a check to the Bottle Works noting the bartender of your choice. Kids’ West African Dance Class

Tuesdays November 5 – 26

Join Instructors Gwen and Holly on Tuesday evenings for West African Dance Class at the Bottle Works’ Black Box Theater from 6:30PM to 7:15PM. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome,

There is a suggested donation of $5 per class; but if you are not able to give no worries. We still invite you come dance with us!

We ask all dancers to dress in flexible clothing and bring a water bottle.

Winter Camp

December 27 & 30

Join Camp BW for a flurry of winter art fun. We will be using our artistic, scientific, engineering, recycling, and athletic skills to create a blizzard of excitement. Our days will be filled with creating slimy snow, building marshmallow structures and experimenting with pouring paint to make abstract art on canvas. We’ll also play some classic winter games indoors including, wax paper skating, carpet square sledding, broom curling and an indoor snowball fight.

On Friday, December 27 & Monday, December 30th.  9am-3pm

1 day for $35 or $65 both days for Non-Members, or 1day for $32 or $60 for both for BW Members. 

Ages 6-12

Camp size is limited. Register by December 20 to secure your space.

Students must be pre-registered. Students should bring their own lunch, water bottle, drinks, and a snack.

Option for early drop off (as early as 7:30 AM) and late pick up

(as late as 5:30 PM) – $5 per hour. Schedule is due on December 20 to ensure care is available.
