You’re invited to a garden party of a different kind…one where you will learn how to feel your best, grow beautiful and plentiful gardens and enjoy the results of your efforts! Gardens, flower beds, and yards all need regular tending in order to look their best. Which leaves many people thinking: “Oh, my aching body!” Minimize yard work soreness by joining yoga instructor, Adriann White, in a practice of stretches for the muscles most often used in yard work. Regular, gentle stretching helps you feel better year-round, as well. The stretches presented are adaptable for all ages and fitness levels. No special equipment needed. Then, join gardening expert Sue Konvolinka for an urban garden discussion at Chestnut and 3rd Ave., followed by light garden-inspired refreshments.
