The Bottle Works Club Works Exhibition is here!

June 27-August 2 in the Events Room in the ArtWorks building.

Join us for the shows opening reception on June 28 from 6-9 PM during a special “open house” Club Works Event.

The Club Works Exhibit is a collaboration from the Sketch Works and Yarn Works groups that started meeting at the Bottle Works in January of this year. The exhibit features work from artists that have been attending Club Works from the start, and is an opportunity for them to display their work, and share their Club Works experience with the community. “Club Works is all about putting artists together in a shared space, with no obligation.” said Club Works artist and Bottle Works employee Matt Lamb. “We get together and we critique, encourage, and inspire one another! Where else can you gather with people with the same interests, the same obstacles, and the same opportunities, and just have a good time while creating not just incredible artwork, but also incredible friendships.” The Bottle Works mission is to provide opportunities like these to local artists.

The exhibit is just the first thing to grow out of the Club Works experience. The Black Box theater features a Camera Works exhibit, and the Brush Works painting group is expected to start up very soon. Group discussions have also led to artistic collaborations between writers and artists, artists from the group demonstrating their techniques at the upcoming 2019 Arts Fest, and the opportunity for artists to exhibit and sell their work.

This exhibit features artwork from Sketch Works Artists Matt Lamb, Glen Klimeck, Chris Tower, and Richard Hower, and Yarn Works artists Carol Churchey and Rayna Noel.
