Winter Wonderland Days
December 27, 28, 29, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Grades K and up
Join instructors Holly Lees and Joanne Mekis as we transform the BOTTLE WORKS classroom into a winter wonderland. We will be using our artistic, scientific, engineering, recycling, and athletic skills to create a blizzard of excitement as we build a winter play land filled with life-sized snowscapes and a gingerbread village.
December 27 – Frosty & Fun – Snowscapes – Use your creativity and imagination to make snow, snowflakes, and paint blustery winter scenes. Make your own snow cone for a tasty frosty treat! With your help, we’ll transform the classroom into a wintry village that will set the theme for the rest of our camp.
December 28 – Toasty & Warm – Gingerbread – Build and decorate life-sized gingerbread houses from recycled materials. We will add our sweet houses to our winter village, and decorate and eat gingerbread cookies. Try your hand at making maple sugar snow candy!
December 29 – BOTTLE WORKS Winter Games – The competition is on! Who can have the most fun?!? Compete indoors and outdoors (weather permitting) in goofy games such as sled racing, skating, snowball hockey, ice fishing, and snowball fights! Win a medal!
1 day for $35. 3 days for $90.
Option for early drop off (as early as 7:30 AM) and late pick up (as late as 5:30 PM) – $8 per hour. Students must be pre-registered.
Students should bring their own lunch, water bottle, drinks, and a snack if desired.
